An action packed thriller ‘The secret of the Palamu Fort’ was born as a successor of this writing endeavour.

Book Review: "The Secret of the Palamu Fort" by Razi is a detective thriller inspired by the works of Satyajit Ray. One can find a close resemblance between Satyajit Ray's fictional sleuth Feluda and the protagonist of this story. However, that does not deter the reader from exploring the marvelous adventure and mystery contained in the pages of this book. What makes the plot more interesting is the historical connection the author has made to provide a flavor of authenticity.

Robin is a famous detective of his region having worked with the police closely. He had cracked down several riddles and puzzling cases for the government before. Only this time - the murderer is a ghost! Or is he? At a time when his town is gripped in fear of the ghastly murders of learned archaeological professors by a spirit, Robin must unearth the mystery concerning Palamu Fort in Jharkhand to stop these murders at large amidst rumors of resurfacing of an ancient curse. Who are behind these murders? Are they human or spirits? What secret lies in Palamu Fort? Are the professors getting killed hiding any secrets? How are the murders being orchestrated? Well, Robin must get to the bottom of these questions before another life is lost.

This book will appeal to a lot of readers who love detective thrillers and historical mysteries involving riddles. It is a sure shot page-turner as we ourselves feel part of the team consisting of Robin, a younger Neil, and an older Babulalji together with the fourth musketeer and Inspector Patrick on a mission. Can they solve some puzzles and catch the killer without being harmed? The climax answers everything satisfactorily while we appreciate the role played by the antagonists too. They deserve every bit of credit in this story as much as the protagonists which in itself is a marvelous work by the author.
