Book Review: "Still Loved...Still Missed!: The Myriad Hues of Souls" by Mridula is a collection of beautifully written 14 pieces of concise prose and a piece of poetry. It does not take long to understand that the author has penned these pieces down taking inspiration from her daily ideals in life and thoughts. There are ample references, both above and underlying, to pacify the readers reading style, forcing one to think beyond. All the short stories carry a wonderful message.

The messages hidden behind the morale of every story, need not be monotonous. The author has skilfully made a transition of the messages such that they cover a wide variety of feelings - from warnings to teachings, moral obligations to recovery, I enjoyed reading each one of them in a different style. A few stories could have been longer to keep the interest growing, but one must respect an author's decision when and where she ends. I particularly enjoyed reading "The Sepal", "The Fall", "Hunger", "And Quiet Flew the Little Birds" and of course the story having the same name as the book "Still Loved...Still Missed!"

This book is a must for anyone who is interested in a short and light read for an hour. One may come out inspired and enriched in the wisdoms of life after reading this beautiful short book filled with imagery and references to a higher power that controls the flow of our universe.
